On 27th June, Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden proudly celebrated Pride Month with a vibrant and engaging event hosted in the Studio Café. The event brought WBSL staff and productions together to learn more about the LGBTQIA+ community and how we can continue building a future of connection, acceptance, and allyship. This year’s event marked our highest ever attendance for a Pride celebration at WBSL.

Visitors explored the history and continued progress of the Queer community, with links to iconic Warner Bros. films such as My Own Private Idaho. Alongside informative displays, the event featured stalls from mental health Solas Mind and LGBTQIA+ helpline charity Switchboard, offering various resources and support.

Attendees were treated to WBSL-branded ‘Always Proud’ t-shirts, Pride-themed food in the Studio Café, and free Ice Cream, serving special rainbow vanilla and mango flavours! A digital thought-board was set up (and quickly filled) with personal reflections on what Pride means to visitors, capturing a sense of belonging and celebration for the community.
It was a fantastic day, with an incredible turnout from staff and productions, reflecting our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace for everyone.
