In celebration of Black History Month, we brought the essence of Notting Hill carnival to the studios through our own internal event. Taking place in our studio café, the event celebrated the contributions of Black people to society, culture, and history with live music, authentic Jamaican and West African cuisine and dancing.

Speaking about the event, Simone Millwood, the organiser behind the event and Set Lighting Billing Assistant at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden shared:

“It is my honour to have been able to create a platform to highlight. through an authentic lens, the greatness inherent within the community that has given so much to the world on every level.”

We were also privileged to host a range of market stalls in collaboration with Ultra Education. They sold a collection of items including t-shirts, art pieces, and homemade household accessories.

Thank you to everyone that came to join in with our celebrations.
