The 2024 BAFTA nominations have been announced and we offer huge congratulations to all this year’s nominees. We are delighted to see Warner Bros. features Barbie and Wonka recognised, and celebrate the entire cast and crew across all departments who worked so hard to bring these productions to life when they were filmed here at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.
Amongst Barbie’s five nominations, we are particularly proud to highlight its nominations for Best Production Design and Best Costume Design. The entirety of Barbie Land was lovingly crafted and built at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden across -eight of our stages and the studio backlot.
Additionally, it is fantastic to seeWonka nominated for Best British Film. The production, directed by Paddington Director Paul King and produced by Harry Potter Producer David Heyman builtover 50 magical sets across three of our stages and the studio backlot when it filmed here last year.
This years awards will be hosted by David Tennant and will take place on Sunday 18 February. It will be broadcast on BBC One and iPlayer, from the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in London.
