We were proud to be included in the British Film Institute (BFI) London Film Festival Industry Programme this year with the panel event “The Creative Pivot: How Virtual Production is Changing the Game for Everyone”.
The panel brought together experts in the world of virtual production including Ryan Beagan (Vice President, Virtual Production, Warner Bros) to discuss the possibilities virtual production brings for the film and TV industry.
Ryan was joined by panellists James Whitlan (Managing Director Episodic, Framestore), Angus Bickerton (Visual Effects Supervisor) and Lisa Gray (Executive Producer, Bild Studios). The panel was moderated by Chris Evans (Locations editor, Screen International).
Virtual production is an exciting development for the industry and provides opportunity to expand creative thinking in effective and efficient ways. The panel discussed the creative strategies they have employed to get the most out of the technology and the opportunities virtual production offers for directors, producers and actors.
Ryan spoke about V Stage, the brand new, state-of-the-art Virtual Production stage at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden: “V stage is set up to be a space for better outcomes. The stage is made to be as flexible as possible so you can come with your ideas and creativity and we will adapt the space for your every need.”
