It’s time to pledge your allegiance to house Black or Green, as the season two premiere of House of The Dragon is released on HBO. We were privileged to once again be the home of this incredible series, which shot extensively across five of our sound stages, bringing to life iconic locations such as the Red Keep, Dragonstone and Kings Landing on our studio backlot.

Season 2 saw the return of Production Designer Jim Clay, who received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Period or Fantasy Program for his work on the first season. Speaking with Gold Derby about beginning work on the series, Clay stated it was “a daunting, but exciting challenge” to step into such a loved and established world.

New additions to the crew include award-winning Costume Designer Caroline McCall, best known for her BAFTA awarded work on Downtown Abbey and His Dark Materials.

The plot for this season will pick up from the ending of season one, with the succession crisis triggered by King Viserys death still very much in dispute between the Green and Black councils. But which will secure their place on the Iron Throne?

Huge congratulations to the entire cast and crew across all departments who worked tirelessly to bring this production together. We look forward to watching the season unfold on our screens.
