The expansion plan developed in close consultation with Three Rivers District Council and Watford Borough Council is now underway. Construction teams from B&K have started moving in and breaking ground with careful consideration given to the local community and our sustainability plans. The expansion is due to be finished in 2027 and will be the primary production hub for DC Studios.
It is anticipated that the expansion will extend WBSL’s positive economic contribution to the Leavesden community with the creation of another 4,000 new direct and indirect jobs and grow WBSL’s contribution to the UK economy by more than £200m. As works progress you will start to see some changes to our site, we will ensure we keep our local residents updated.
